Due to the especially dry conditions, many Colorado municipalities have cancelled their firework displays. So far, the list of cancelled Colorado firework displays includes: Aspen Breckenridge Canon City Georgetown Idaho springs Indian Hills Keystone Steamboat Springs The entire state is currently under a burn ban, which means that only professionals and municipalities with approval from the local sheriff can set off fireworks. If the governor decides to lift the ban in certain areas that are no longer at high risk, people in those areas would still have a limited number of fireworks they could enjoy, depending on where they are.
